The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced the arrest of four individuals suspected of fraud in Maiduguri, Borno State.
Dele Oyewale, the EFCC Head of Media and Publicity, disclosed this information on Tuesday in Maiduguri.
According to him, the commission’s operatives apprehended the suspects at the former Trafalgar Hotel in the Bolori area of Maiduguri, based on credible intelligence regarding their illicit activities.
Oyewale further stated that the operatives seized four smartphones, three HP laptops, and power banks from the suspects. He also mentioned that the suspects will be prosecuted in court soon.
